Paratalks Private Limited (“Paratalks” “Paratalks Website” “Paratalks Mobile Application” “We” “Us” “Our”) is in the business of facilitating connections between consumers (hereinafter the “User”) (collectively “User” “You” “Your” “Client”) seeking therapy/consultation-related solutions whether online or offline and Service Professionals (“Professionals” “Service Professionals” “Paraexperts”) across various fields who provide these Services.
These terms and conditions constitute the cancellation and refund policy of Paratalks for Services availed on or through the Paratalks Website available at paratalks.in and Paratalks Mobile Applicable (collectively hereinafter the “Platform”).
By availing the Services on the Platform you confirm that you have read understood and consented to be bound by this Refund Policy as amended from time to time.
Once the order/request/scheduling of any of the Services offered on the Platform has been successfully placed and a booking has been made the User is not entitled to any refund if a Service Professional has confirmed their booking in the dashboard and no refund shall be issued for the same. The User shall ensure that the payment for any Service that is availed by them is made in full and at the time when the order is placed.
In case the Service Professional has not confirmed the booking the User may contact Customer Care at +91-9116768791 or email us at contact@paratalks.in before the confirmation by the Service Professional and request a refund in case an offline Service or reschedule in the case of an online Service. The User shall note that the discretion to issue a refund or not in whole or in part lies with the Platform.
The Platform holds all the rights to deny/cancel the refund request.
The refund (if permitted by the Platform) shall be processed after deductions. The deductions may include transaction charges levied by the bank and/or the payment gateway as well as any other charges incurred by the Platform for facilitating the payment or refund.
No refund shall be issued in case wrong contact details are provided by the User or the User&aspos; device being unreachable or any other technical glitch attributable to the User. Once the User schedules a booking with the Service Professional they must ensure their device is in a full coverage area and reachable. No refund shall be issued for any live-session or call whether audio or video once the call or live-session is connected. Additionally once the booking is made the User is required to ensure their availability and is required to attend to the Service Professional at the time of the scheduled Service.
Please note that no refund shall be provided for any products or merchandise or service that is purchased by the User from or through the Platform.
In the case of multiple payments made by the User for a single placed order the User would be entitled to a refund of any excess transaction made for Services that have already been paid for. The refund shall be subject to necessary deductions as outlined in the foregoing clause. Additionally the User shall not be entitled to a refund in the event that the payment made by them is processed to a wrong Account due to neglect or error attributable to the User.
If for any reason the Platform is unable to fulfil the order successfully placed the Platform reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the order. In such cases if a User has made a payment for cancelled services or under any other circumstance where the Platform deems it appropriate to issue a refund the amount will be automatically refunded within 3-4 business days. If there is any unreasonable delay the User can report it to Customer Care at contact@paratalks.in or +91-9116768791. If the services are rescheduled the User would not be entitled to a refund.
